When I was at the countryside, I watched three movies: Mean Girls 2, Hall Pass and The Graduate (about this last one I won’t write though because I didn’t like it). Hall Pass was a nice romantic comedy with Owen Wilson (Midnight in Paris, How do you know and Marley&Me). I laughed, though it was a little kinky here and there.
storyline via imdb: A couple of married guys are always looking at other women. Their wives are fed up with their behavior, and grant them a ‘hall pass’: a week off their marriage allowing them to do anything. But the guys take their time and their week is almost up. What they don’t realize is that at the same time their wives make connections of their own.
There’s exactly a week since I went to the cinema with my BFF to watch this hilarious romantic comedy with Reese Witherspoon (Vanity Fair, Water for Elephants, How do you know? and Legally Blonde) and gorgeous Tom Hardy (Wuthering Heights and Inception). Actually, because of this movie, I’ve made a new obsession for him! Of course I liked him before, but here, in „This means war!”, he has the most charming part. He’s polite, sexy, protective and… British :D haha. I have a thing for guys with accent. However, coming back to the movie, I truly recommend it! There’s been a while since I’ve seen such a good comedy! I laughed out loud all the time, seriously!
storyline via imdb: Two CIA agents, Tuck and Frank who are also best friends, have been benched because someone’s after them. Tuck is divorced with a son whom he’s not close to and Frank is a ladies man. Tuck decides to try and find someone so he places his profile on a dating website. Lauren, a woman also looking for a guy sees tuck’s profile and goes with him. She later bumps into Frank and he hits on her and she goes out with him. she’s intrigued by both of them. When they learn that they’re dating the same girl, they agree to let her choose. But both can’t help but use their skills to keep tabs on her and each other. And also sabotage each others dates with her.
Last week(end) I was chilling home so I decided to watch a few movies. Thanks to the Cinemagia App, I discovered there are a few nice movies on TV too; so I set the alarm for me to know when they start. „How do you know?” with Reese Witherspoon (Water for elephants, Vanity Fair and Legally Blonde), Paul Rudd (Knocked up and Friends), Owen Wilson (Midnight in Paris and Marley and Me) and Jack Nicholson (The Departed and As good as it gets) was a romance/comedy; a cheap one, but enjoyable as well.
Storyline via imdb: Star softball player, Lisa, has just been cut from the national team; Scholarly business man, George, has just been indicted from his father’s company. With everything that they know in their lives taken from them, Lisa and George attempt to find romance. Lisa’s potential boyfriend, Matty, however, is as clueless and perpetually single as they come, and George’s girlfriend just dumped him. A chance hook-up through mutual friends, Lisa and George may be able to form a friendship, or more, that can help them climb out of the piles of lemons that life has handed to them.
