Yesterday me and my best friend, Flavia, took advantage of some spare time and went to CinemaCity to watch the latest Liam Neeson movie. I remember when I watched on TV Taken 1 and how I loved it, so the second part was a must for me. And to be honest, when I checked the film list, I didn’t see any other one to be worth spending the time and the money. So, if you’re a fan of action movies, you shouldn’t miss this one!
storyline via imdb: Bryan Mills, the former CIA man who rescued his daughter Kim from some Albanian human traffickers, is being targeted by the families of the men he killed. When he goes to Istanbul on a job, he invites Kim and her mother, Leonor, whose marriage is on the rocks to join him. When the Albanians learn of this they try to grab them. They get Bryan and Leonor, he warns Kim and she evades them. Later he calls Kim to tell her to go to the Embassy but she insists that he let her help them. Bryan tells her to get his case which is filled with weapons and with that, she finds them and gives him a weapon. He escapes and plans to come back for Leonor but they are too many and is unable to save Leonor. So he relies on his memory to find her.
Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls, The Notebook, Sherlock Holmes and Midnight in Paris) and Channing Tatum (Public Enemies and Magic Mike) are on my list of favorite actors. This Friday I was tired of the same series, so I decided to watch a movie instead. I have dozens of movies in my computer, but I finally picked this romantic drama and I don’t regret it. A must see for lachrymatory lovers.
storyline via imdb: Leo and Paige are a couple who just got married. After an accident, Paige is left unconscious, and when she awakes she doesn’t remember Leo. Her parents, whom she hasn’t seen since she and Leo got together, come and visit her. She can’t believe that she hasn’t seen them for such a long time. Leo wants to bring her home with him but her parents want her to go with them. She goes with Leo but when she doesn’t recognize anything, she goes to her parents. And she wonders why did she cut off contact with her family. She also runs into her ex and wonders why they broke up. Leo tries to win her back by courting her again.
P.S.: I’m sorry for not posting this week: I was involved in the second part of the interchange with Italy, so I had no time to breath. Atm I’m waiting to receive all the pictures, because there are lots! Oh, and yeah, I have to recover a week of school, do my homework and stuff and the best part of all this is that I’m sick as fuck. But I’m still excited about the El Clasico tonight! Yey!
I’ve been wanting to post about this movie for a while now, because I saw it a week ago or something, but I was very busy. Now I’m watching Barcelona – Real Madrid, but it’s the break (0-0), so yeah. This romantic comedy with Miley Cyrus (The Last Song and Hannah Montana: The Movie), Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga) and Demi Moore was very nice and inspiring – with happy ending. It’s about true love at a young age, friendship between a mother and her daughter and more.
storyline via imdb: In a world connected by YouTube, iTunes, and Facebook, Lola and her friends navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship while dodging their sometimes overbearing and confused parents. When Lola’s mom, Anne, „accidentally” reads her teenage daughter’s racy journal, she realizes just how wide their communication gap has grown. Through hilarious and heartfelt moments between mother and daughter, LOL is a fresh coming-of-age story for modern times.
I’ve always loved superheroes. It’s a week since I’ve seen this amazing action/romantic movie in 3D at Cinema City and I have to admit that I really loved it! Andrew Garfield (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and The Social Network) was a very cute and funny Spiderman; but I prefer Emma Stone (Crazy, Stupid, Love., Friends with Benefits, Easy A and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past) redhead. They make a very nice couple though. I laughed and cried at the same movie and this is very nice. I’m sure they are going to make a sequel for the film! Go watch it: it is indeed AMAZING! I hate spiders, but this one was cute :D
storyline via imdb: Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy, and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors, his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
When I was at the countryside, I watched three movies: Mean Girls 2, Hall Pass and The Graduate (about this last one I won’t write though because I didn’t like it). Hall Pass was a nice romantic comedy with Owen Wilson (Midnight in Paris, How do you know and Marley&Me). I laughed, though it was a little kinky here and there.
storyline via imdb: A couple of married guys are always looking at other women. Their wives are fed up with their behavior, and grant them a ‘hall pass’: a week off their marriage allowing them to do anything. But the guys take their time and their week is almost up. What they don’t realize is that at the same time their wives make connections of their own.
