The Amazing Spider-Man

I’ve always loved superheroes. It’s a week since I’ve seen this amazing action/romantic movie in 3D at Cinema City and I have to admit that I really loved it! Andrew Garfield (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and The Social Network) was a very cute and funny Spiderman; but I prefer Emma Stone (Crazy, Stupid, Love., Friends with Benefits, Easy A and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past) redhead. They make a very nice couple though. I laughed and cried at the same movie and this is very nice. I’m sure they are going to make a sequel for the film! Go watch it: it is indeed AMAZING! I hate spiders, but this one was cute :D

storyline via imdb: Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy, and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors, his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

he’s cute also with glasses

I love his smile here

Hall Pass (2011)

When I was at the countryside, I watched three movies: Mean Girls 2, Hall Pass and The Graduate (about this last one I won’t write though because I didn’t like it). Hall Pass was a nice romantic comedy with Owen Wilson (Midnight in Paris, How do you know and Marley&Me). I laughed, though it was a little kinky here and there.

storyline via imdb: A couple of married guys are always looking at other women. Their wives are fed up with their behavior, and grant them a ‘hall pass’: a week off their marriage allowing them to do anything. But the guys take their time and their week is almost up. What they don’t realize is that at the same time their wives make connections of their own.

Oddly attractive

Because it’s summer, I’m bored, etc., I remembered about the times when I loved to watch Rebelde and to listen to RBD songs. The series (oh, what the hell, it is a soap opera!) has more than 400 episodes, so I decided to watch instead RBD La Familia, which has only 13 episodes, after I finished Two and a Half Men. RBD La Familia is different from the soap opera: it’s very funny. Sometimes my mum enters my room because she doesn’t understand why I’m laughing so hard. Of course I remembered my first celebrity crush, Christopher Uckermann, so I checked his official Twitter account. I discovered he has some new songs now (*self note: listen to Christopher Uckermann’s new songs*) and a different look, but he’s still damn hot and cute at the same time. I saw the picture above and I remembered I also own a pair of clear wayfarers, so this morning, after waking up, I fooled around a little bit in my room with my phone’s camera. More pictures of Christopher later today, so stay tuned!

What’s your number? (2011)

On Friday night I wanted to watch something different from Two and a half men, so I went for a romantic comedy: What’s your number? with Anna Faris (My super ex-girlfriend, Brokeback Mountain and Friends) and Chris Evans (incredibly sexy). It was very nice, because I also laughed from time to time and of course everything happily ended. But I hated the girl’s voice: argh, so annoying!

storyline via imdb: Ally is a woman who has many ex-boyfriends who turned out to be losers. Now she believes that she can’t find a good guy. But when she runs into one of her exes who is now a ‘Prince Charming’, she decides to look up all of her exes to see if any of them have changed for the better. And when she has trouble locating them, she asks her neighbor Colin, who sleeps with women every night and sneaks out the morning after to avoid talking to them, to help her.

American Reunion

After lots of posts with Oscar movies, it’s time for me to write about something more… fun for some of you. A few days ago I went to the cinema with Smaranda and we watched the last American Pie film. I have to admit, I think I laughed more at the first episodes, but this one was pretty good too.

storyline via imdb: Over a decade has passed and the gang return to East Great Falls, Michigan, for the weekend. They will discover how their lives have developed as they gather for their high school reunion. How has life treated Michelle, Jim, Heather, Oz, Kevin, Vicky, Finch, Stifler, and Stifler’s mom? In the summer of 1999, it was four boys on a quest to lose their virginity. Now Kara is a cute high school senior looking for the perfect guy to lose her virginity to.

P.S.: I updated my Blogroll. Take a look!

P.S. 2: I’m off to do a Biology project and then… True Blood season two.
