After watching the drama „Snow White and the Huntsman”, I wanted to see the funny version called „Mirror Mirror” too. I didn’t regret it, because I didn’t get bored a second and this because of the cast: Julia Roberts (Valentine’s Day, Ocean’s Twelve, Ocean’s Eleven and Friends), Lily Collins (Abduction and 90210) and beautiful Armie Hammer (J. Edgar, The Social Network and Gossip Girl) who played the prince. I loved two scenes: the fight between Snow White and the prince and the one with the kiss (unusual because Snow White’s kiss healed the prince and not the opposite). I think everybody should watch this film, because it’s very nice!
storyline via imdb: After a beloved King vanishes, his ruthless wife seizes control of the kingdom and keeps her beautiful 18-year-old stepdaughter, Snow White, hidden away in the palace. But when the princess attracts the attention of a charming and wealthy visiting prince, the jealous Queen banishes the girl to a nearby forest. Taken in by a band of rebellious but kindhearted dwarfs, Snow White blossoms into a brave young woman determined to save her country from the Queen. With the support of her new friends, she roars into action to reclaim her birthright and win back her Prince in this magical adventure comedy that will capture the hearts and imaginations of audiences the world over.
Because of my renewed obsession for Taylor Lautner, after watching the latest Twilight movie at the cinema, I wanted to watch Abduction too. Fortunately I had the film in my computer so all I had to do was to enjoy my Friday night. I really liked the movie, it’s full of action and it gives you that feeling of strength, if you know what I mean. And there are also some romantic scenes, very nice ones because they’re not erotic at all, just teenage love.
