Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

The day before yesterday I watched this movie, although I first wanted to see Hall Pass. When I realised its quality sucked, I gave Captain America a shot. I liked the film, especially because it didn’t bore me, but it was way too unrealistic and SF for my taste. I still liked to see hot Chris Evans (What’s Your Number?), handsome Sebastian Stan (Spread, Gossip Girl and Gone) and gorgeous Richard Armitage (Robin Hood and North and South) on the screen again. Now I’m waiting for the sequel in 2014.

storyline via imdb: It is 1942, America has entered World War II, and sickly but determined Steve Rogers is frustrated at being rejected yet again for military service. Everything changes when Dr. Erksine recruits him for the secret Project Rebirth. Proving his extraordinary courage, wits and conscience, Rogers undergoes the experiment and his weak body is suddenly enhanced into the maximum human potential. When Dr. Erksine is then immediately assassinated by an agent of Nazi Germany’s head of its secret HYDRA research department, Johann Schmidt aka the Red Skull, Rogers is left as a unique man who is initially misused as a propaganda mascot. However, when his comrades need him, Rogers goes on a successful adventure that truly makes him Captain America and his war against Schmidt begins.

Mean Girls (2004)

On Thursday, I was so bored at school that I brought my laptop and watched this movie with Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Midnight in Paris, Sherlock Holmes and The Notebook) and Amanda Seyfried (Gone). The film had a little comedy and romance in it, something like a Disney movie, but more kinky. I liked it because it shows the truth. Watch it if you want to understand what I’m talking about.

storyline via imdb: Raised in African bush country by her zoologist parents, Cady Heron thinks she knows about survival of the fittest. But the law of the jungle takes on a whole new meaning when the home-schooled 16-year-old enters public high school for the first time and encounters psychological warfare and unwritten social rules that teenage girls face today.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting

Yesterday I went with a friend to the cinema to watch this lovely romantic comedy with Cameron Diaz (Bad Teacher, Knight and Day, Shrek Forever After, What Happens in Vegas, Shrek the Third, Shrek 2 and Shrek), Jennifer Lopez (The Back-up Plan), Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl), Ben Falcone (Joey), Anna Kendrick (The Twilight Saga and Up in the air) and Joe Manganiello (True Blood). As you can see, a lot of known actors. The movie was very nice, something like Valentine’s Day (lots of couples), so if you liked that film, you should watch this one as well :)

storyline via imdb: Inspired by the perennial New York Times bestseller of the same name, WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING is a hilarious and heartfelt big screen comedy about five couples whose intertwined lives are turned upside down by the challenges of impending parenthood. Over the moon about starting a family, TV fitness guru Jules and dance show star Evan find that their high-octane celebrity lives don’t stand a chance against the surprise demands of pregnancy. Baby-crazy author and advocate Wendy gets a taste of her own militant mommy advice when pregnancy hormones ravage her body; while Wendy’s husband, Gary, struggles not to be outdone by his competitive alpha-Dad, who’s expecting twins with his much younger trophy wife, Skyler. Photographer Holly is prepared to travel the globe to adopt a child, but her husband Alex isn’t so sure, and tries to quiet his panic by attending a „dudes” support group…

Mirror Mirror

After watching the drama „Snow White and the Huntsman”, I wanted to see the funny version called „Mirror Mirror” too. I didn’t regret it, because I didn’t get bored a second and this because of the cast: Julia Roberts (Valentine’s Day, Ocean’s Twelve, Ocean’s Eleven and Friends), Lily Collins (Abduction and 90210) and beautiful Armie Hammer (J. Edgar, The Social Network and Gossip Girl) who played the prince. I loved two scenes: the fight between Snow White and the prince and the one with the kiss (unusual because Snow White’s kiss healed the prince and not the opposite). I think everybody should watch this film, because it’s very nice!

storyline via imdb: After a beloved King vanishes, his ruthless wife seizes control of the kingdom and keeps her beautiful 18-year-old stepdaughter, Snow White, hidden away in the palace. But when the princess attracts the attention of a charming and wealthy visiting prince, the jealous Queen banishes the girl to a nearby forest. Taken in by a band of rebellious but kindhearted dwarfs, Snow White blossoms into a brave young woman determined to save her country from the Queen. With the support of her new friends, she roars into action to reclaim her birthright and win back her Prince in this magical adventure comedy that will capture the hearts and imaginations of audiences the world over.

Snow White and the Huntsman

Yesterday I went with my BFF to the cinema. We chose to watch this drama, which had here and there Transformers kind of scenes. The actress who played the Queen is soooooo beautiful and unfortunately Kristen Stewart (The Twilight Saga) doesn’t beat her. I liked the idea of a  love triangle (seems like Kristen is damned to play this kind of roles), but in the end it’s not clear whether Snow White chooses William or the Huntsman. William was played by Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) and the Huntsman by Chris Hemsworth, Liam Hemsworth (Miley Cyrus’ fiancée) elder brother. Maybe you know him better as Thor. Both of them were damn hot, but if I had to choose, I’d certainly go with handsome Chris, who is 191 cm tall and one of the most virile men I’ve ever seen ♥

storyline via imdb: Snow White is the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen. Unable to tolerate the insult to her vanity, the evil queen decides that Snow White must die. The queen sends a huntsman to kill Snow White. However the huntsman finds himself unable to murder the innocent young woman, and instead ends up training her to become a warrior capable of threatening the queen’s reign.

I love it when very tall men make fun of the short women :D

well… this is unfortunate

and here are the gorgeous brothers
